What is Events4Kids?
In the beginning, our mission was clear: to provide a simple, centralized platform for sharing home education events. But we’ve always had a deeper goal in mind – building a tight-knit community that facilitates connections both before and after these events.
We’ve now grown from a simple event booking website to a Membership Community. Our members can view events by location, date and type and receive access to book events – without booking fees!
They also have access to a thriving hub for like-minded individuals to connect, share experiences, and support one another.
Together, we’ll make it easier than ever for the Home Ed community to come together, learn, and grow.
Humble Beginnings
Events4kids was established by home-educating parents of two, Emma & Steven Cooper. Thrown into the world of home educating their 7-year-old and 9-year-old children during the COVID-19 pandemic, they quickly realised how rewarding it is to be with their children all day, every day and to be a greater part of their growing and learning experience.
As home-ed parents, they experienced first-hand how challenging it can be to keep up with the ever-increasing number of available activities. They relied on word-of-mouth, numerous WhatsApp groups and various Facebook communities to discover new opportunities for their kids.
So they decided to create a single, comprehensive space where organisers can advertise and the home ed community can quickly and easily find everything they need.
