History Workshops @ Stevenage Museum

Step into the past with our fortnightly History Workshops — designed exclusively for home-educated children and hosted at Stevenage Museum. Each session offers a hands-on, story-led journey into a different period of history, led by the museum’s experienced Education Officer.

Children will explore artefacts, come in wear costumes (where appropriate), and immerse themselves in the real experiences of people from the past. Whether it's joining a Roman household, applying to be a Victorian servant, or experiencing school in the 1800s — these workshops make history memorable, meaningful, and fun.
