SUMMARY:History Workshops @ Stevenage Museum
DESCRIPTION:Step into the past with our History Workshops — designed excl
 usively for home-educated children and hosted at Stevenage Museum. Each ses
 sion offers a hands-on\, story-led journey into a different period of histo
 ry\, led by the museum’s experienced Education Officer.\nChildren will ex
 plore artefacts\, come in wear costumes (where appropriate)\, and immerse t
 hemselves in the real experiences of people from the past. Whether it's joi
 ning a Roman household\, applying to be a Victorian servant\, or experienci
 ng school in the 1800s — these workshops make history memorable\, meaning
 ful\, and fun.\n\n🎓 What to Expect\n\n\nSmall group sessions with other 
 home ed children\n\n\nMixture of object handling\, role play\, and storytel
 ling\n\n\nOpportunities to dress up for some sessions (optional)\n\n\nSuita
 ble for ages 6–12 (varies slightly by session)\n\n\nHeld on Thursdays\, 
 2:00–3:30pm\n\n\nOptional social lunch at 1:00pm — bring your own food 
 and meet other families!IMPORTANT: Years are suggested only\, parents may u
 se their own discretion — some older children may enjoy joining in with y
 ounger-themed sessions\, and some younger children might be ready for the o
 lder topics\, depending on their experience and confidence.  The education
